Lauren E. Jackson is a Project Manager with the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Programs. Before joining the Recovery Office in August of 2021, Lauren spent three years with the Baltimore City Office of Equity and Civil Rights (OECR) investigating employment and housing discrimination under various local and federal laws. Lauren previously worked for one of the first fair housing nonprofits in the nation, Baltimore Neighborhoods, Inc. (BNI). During her time with OECR and BNI, Lauren helped implement programming under and assure compliance with several federal grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). A lifelong Maryland resident, Lauren moved to Baltimore in 2013 and received her Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Morgan State University.
