Joshua H. Wilson has served in the Baltimore City government for the last four years, most recently as a Program Manager in the Baltimore City Office of Information & Technology (BCIT). In that role, he led projects assessing service and cost optimization opportunities across the City’s IT enterprise. Prior to that, Josh served in the Mayor’s Office under the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, where he helped manage operations and fostered cross-agency collaboration in public works, transportation, recreation and parks, and other service areas. Following that role, he pivoted to helping project manage the City’s restoration of services amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as the Chief of Staff’s Special Assistant. With a specialization in performance management, public sector financial management, and a passion for serving the people of Baltimore, Josh began his career in City government as a CitiStat analyst, where he ran “Stat meetings” for major City agencies, redesigning performance measures and using data to hold agencies accountable and to improve service delivery equitably. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Italian Studies at Bucknell University and earned his Master of Public Policy at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy in College Park. Josh is a native of the Baltimore region and currently lives in Canton.
